Discussion of students on discrimination, harassment and violence faced by persons with disabilities in Serbia

With the support of UN Women, University of Belgrade Faculty of Law organized bilingual conference “Gender (In)Equality of Persons with Disability”. An important part of the conference that was held on 20 September 2021 was discussion of students on issues of discrimination, harassment and violence faced by persons with disability in legal, social and educational context in Serbia. Discussion was chaired by Ana Pavlović, a PhD candidate at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. Besides her, students Maša Stojaković and Ljubomir Tintor and former student Viktor Živojinović have, based on their personal experiences, pointed out the problems that persons with disability face, especially in the fields of education and employment. They emphasized that the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law has put great effort in order to provide accessibility for people with disability.
