In its concluding observations on the fourth periodic report of Serbia, the United Nations (UN) Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) suggested targeted actions in education to promote gender equality and combat negative stereotypes that cause violence and discrimination against women. That could be achieved by working with both students and professors to include a gender perspective in teaching methods and curricula. With the support of the OSCE Mission in Serbia, University of Belgrade Faculty of Law organized the cluster of three consecutive workshops for students enrolled on the Legal Clinics. Second workshop was held on November 3, 2021 as practical work on different topics concerning violence against women, femicide and gender-based discrimination. The workshop was developed and conducted by international expert Kosana Beker, while Prof. Dr. Ivana Krstic chaired the session.
